Beginners Development Circle To encourage beginners in their spiritual development using all 'tools' available to promote and enhance personal perception To encourage and explore 'spirit links' as per SNU guidelines

Speakers and Philosophy To develop SNU philosophy along side speaking and speaking skills with the aim of promoting the religion, the philosophy and the science of Spiritualism as based upon the seven principles.

An Introduction to Spiritualism One Day Course. Free This one day course is mandatory and is a requirement, prior to consideration for application to full membership. Membership is thereafter by invitation. Open to non -members, associate members and full members who may not have participated in this event before.

Open Circle An 'open circle' can be attended by members and non members, unless restricted, on the condition that they attend the Sunday Service prior to the event. It is designed to introduce people to the very first stages of meditation methods and for them to explore their own psychic or spiritual potential under experienced supervision and within their own limits and comfort. It is a taster event. No meditation or exercise is compulsory and people participate as and when they feel able. They may stop at any point and leave if unsettled in any way.

Fledglings Invitation or referral only. Group tuition leading to public demonstrations at fledgling Group and at tutors discretion Students may be encouraged to work alongside an experienced medium and participate in services at their own church and may be encouraged to travel under supervision to others, when assessed to be at suitable/ required standard. Students may be introduced to other schemes and training within the SNU.e.g PAS, CSNU study. B1, SD1 etc but this is all voluntary and not a requirement.
